Red fruit tart

Prepare a delicious red fruit tart and surprise your family with a dessert full of flavour and affection.

Ingredients:
– 500g of AgroAguiar frozen red berries;
– 1 base of puff pastry or shortcrust pastry;
– 150g sugar;
– 2 tablespoons of cornflour;
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence;
– Juice of 1 lemon;
– 1 egg yolk to brush on.

Directions
1- Preheat the oven to 180ºC and place the frozen fruit in a pan, add the sugar, lemon juice and vanilla essence. Place the pan over a medium heat until the fruit starts to release its liquid;
2- Dissolve the cornflour in a little water and add to the pan with the fruit. Stir until the mixture thickens. Remove from the heat and leave to cool;
3- Line a baking tin with puff pastry or shortcrust pastry. Pour the fruit mixture over the pastry and spread evenly;
4- Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling, forming a rustic tart. Brush the edges of the pastry with the egg yolk;
5- Place the pie in the preheated oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and crispy.
