AgroAguiar
AgroAguiar was founded in 2007 in Sabroso de Aguiar, right in the heart of Trás-os-Montes, where we find nature in its purest state. Inspired by our roots, we named the brand and wanted to make known to the world the ex-libris of the region, the chestnut.
The need to respond to the demands of our customers and the market has promoted the diversification of our offer. Currently, AgroAguiar cultivates, acquires, processes and distributes nuts, fruits and frozen vegetables for the national and international markets.
AgroAguiar is proud to source more than 90% of our fruit in Portugal through a close relationship with local farmers, co-operatives and companies.

OUR COMMITMENT
We are committed to minimising our carbon footprint through self-consumption of renewable energy.
We invest in the treatment of consumed water in order to safely reintegrate it into the production process.
All our waste resulting from the production process goes to the organic fertiliser industry.
AgroAguiar chooses partners that follow the best agricultural practices, in order to guarantee the quality of the product. In return, we reciprocate with the guarantee of fair trade, production outlets and economic sustainability.
Together with our stakeholders, we believe that it is crucial to be at the forefront of the market, so we continuously analyse and evaluate trends in consumption, nutrition and well-being in order to launch new products.

AgroAguiar is committed to presenting 100% natural fruits and vegetables with an exceptional flavour, excluding any additives from the production process.
In line with the certifications implemented, we are proud to source more than 90% of our fruit in Portugal, through a close relationship with local farmers, cooperatives and companies.
Our products are developed to meet the demands of our customers in the industrial and food retail sectors.
