Chestnut Tart is creamy, aromatic, and irresistible, the perfect touch to celebrate the coziest season of the year.
Ingredients:
đ€ AgroAguiar chestnuts – 300g
đ€ Ground fennel – 1 teaspoon
đ€ Shortcrust pastry – 230g
đ€ Almond flour – 200g
đ€ Sugar – 300g
đ€ Eggs – 3
đ€ Lemon (zest) – 1
đ€ Butter – 2 tablespoons
đ€ Cream – 100ml
đ€ Powdered sugar – 1 tablespoon
Preparation:
1ïžâŁ Preheat the oven to 180°C;
2ïžâŁ Cook the chestnuts in boiling water flavored with fennel for about 15 minutes;
3ïžâŁ Line a pie dish with the shortcrust pastry;
4ïžâŁ In a bowl, mix the almond flour, 200g sugar, eggs, lemon zest, melted butter, and cream;
5ïžâŁ Set aside about 8 chestnuts and grind the rest in a food processor until you have a purĂ©e. Add it to the almond mixture, mix well, and pour into the pie dish. Spread evenly.
6ïžâŁ Bake for about 30 minutes.
7ïžâŁ Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve decorated with the reserved chestnuts.
