Recipe: Chestnut Tart

A simple dessert, but full of tradition. 🌰
Chestnut Tart is creamy, aromatic, and irresistible, the perfect touch to celebrate the coziest season of the year.

Ingredients:

đŸŸ€ AgroAguiar chestnuts – 300g

đŸŸ€ Ground fennel – 1 teaspoon

đŸŸ€ Shortcrust pastry – 230g

đŸŸ€ Almond flour – 200g

đŸŸ€ Sugar – 300g

đŸŸ€ Eggs – 3

đŸŸ€ Lemon (zest) – 1

đŸŸ€ Butter – 2 tablespoons

đŸŸ€ Cream – 100ml

đŸŸ€ Powdered sugar – 1 tablespoon

Preparation:

1ïžâƒŁ Preheat the oven to 180°C;

2ïžâƒŁ Cook the chestnuts in boiling water flavored with fennel for about 15 minutes;

3ïžâƒŁ Line a pie dish with the shortcrust pastry;

4ïžâƒŁ In a bowl, mix the almond flour, 200g sugar, eggs, lemon zest, melted butter, and cream;

5ïžâƒŁ Set aside about 8 chestnuts and grind the rest in a food processor until you have a purĂ©e. Add it to the almond mixture, mix well, and pour into the pie dish. Spread evenly.

6ïžâƒŁ Bake for about 30 minutes.

7ïžâƒŁ Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve decorated with the reserved chestnuts.
